Sandcastles is a powerful tool designed to help you win with content. It provides a comprehensive database of successful content strategies, allowing you to analyze trends, identify winning content, and ultimately build better scripts and videos. The platform offers a full end-to-end workflow, from research and idea generation to scriptwriting and analysis.

Key Features and Workflows

Sandcastles offers several key features to streamline your content creation process:

1. Channel List Building

• Purpose: To identify and aggregate channels within your niche that are producing high-performing content.
• Workflow:
  1. Navigate to the Channels tab.
  2. Use the Suggested tab to browse recommendations based on your onboarding information.
  3. Use the Describe tab to input keywords related to the content you're looking for (e.g., "social media growth strategy"). You can also filter by platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) and account size.
  4. Use the Search tab to find specific channels by name or handle.
  5. Use the Add URL tab to paste full channel URLs (separated by newlines or commas) and parse them.
  6. Add desired channels to your "Watchlist" by clicking the '+' icon.
  7. Save your list. The platform will dynamically suggest channels similar to those you've added.

2. Video Analysis

• Purpose: To analyze videos from your channels to unlock deep insights and find your next idea.
• Workflow:
  1. Navigate to the Videos tab.
  2. You can filter videos by channels, keywords, outlier score, views, engagement, and posted date.
  3. You can also add external videos via URL (YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok supported).
  4. Click on a video to analyze it. You can view the transcript, idea analysis, hook, storytelling format, and visual layout.
  5. Export the data in JSON or CSV format for further analysis.

3. Ideas Inbox & Shortlist

• Purpose: To review and organize ideas generated from video analysis.
• Workflow:
  1. Navigate to the Ideas tab.
  2. Your analyzed videos appear in the "Inbox" section.
  3. You can discard ideas, add them to a "Shortlist," or "Go to Analysis" for a deeper dive.
  4. From here, you can also "Create script" or "Add notes" to refine your ideas.

4. Automations

• Purpose: To automatically analyze videos based on rules you define.
• Workflow:
  1. Navigate to the Automations tab.
  2. Click "Add Rule" to create a new automation.
  3. Define your criteria (e.g., "Min outlier score 1, Views 25,000, Engagement 2%").
  4. Set a daily limit for the automation.
  5. Toggle the rule "Active" to enable it.
  6. You can edit or delete existing rules.
