What are the differences between the Starter, Pro, Visionary, and Titan plans?

Sandcastles Pricing Plans Overview
Sandcastles has three full plans: Pro, Visionary and Titan. New accounts can also start on the $5/month Starter plan, which is offered once. Higher plans include more credits, workspaces, channels and verified social accounts, and only Titan includes the API and workspace guests.

Which plan should I pick?
- Starter: a low-cost way to try Sandcastles, with 10 credits a month, one workspace and one verified social account. Several features aren't included (see below).
- Pro: every feature except the API and workspace guests, with 100 credits a month and up to 3 workspaces.
- Visionary: everything in Pro, with 250 credits a month, up to 5 workspaces and 250 channels per Watchlist. You can also refresh your verified channels on demand from the Dashboard more often.
- Titan: everything in Visionary, with 1,500 credits a month, up to 20 workspaces, API access and guests for your workspaces.
What you can't do on Starter
- Add channels that aren't in Sandcastles yet. You can still add up to 50 channels that are already in Sandcastles to your Watchlist. If you try to add a new one, you'll see an Upgrade required message.
- Create more than one workspace.
- Use Global search, Bulk Analyze or saved filters in the Videos tab.
- Use Reports, Automations, Persona or Exports.
- Connect the MCP or the API.
- Buy credit boosts.
- Refresh your verified channels on demand from the Dashboard.
On Starter you can still analyze videos, write scripts, and use the Dashboard, Ideas, Hooks, Collections and Projects tabs.
How the Starter plan works
- Starter is only offered to new accounts that have never had a subscription. Once you've had any subscription, it's no longer available.
- It costs $5/month. That rate doesn't go up while you stay on Starter, and you're never automatically billed more than $5/month. You only move to a bigger plan if you choose to upgrade.
- If you cancel Starter, your access ends immediately and your most recent $5 payment is refunded to your original card. Refunds typically take 5–10 business days.
To cancel Starter:
- Go to Settings > Subscription.
- Click Cancel and refund subscription.
- Click I understand, next.
- Click Cancel subscription. You'll be signed out.
How to upgrade or change plans
- Go to Settings > Subscription and click Upgrade plan.
- Choose a plan. Turn on Save 20% with annual billing! to see annual prices.
- Finish the upgrade:
- From Starter: tick "I understand Sandcastles will charge my card immediately, and that my subscription will renew automatically until I cancel." Then click the Buy … plan button for the plan you chose. Your card is charged right away, and your new plan's monthly credits are added straight away.
- From Pro, Visionary or Titan: click Change plan in billing portal and confirm the change there.
How credits work
- Credits are used when you analyze videos, write scripts and run reports. For details, see How does the credit system work?.
- On monthly billing, your plan credits reset on each renewal date. On annual billing, they reset every 30 days.
- You can see the date under Credit reset date in Settings > Subscription.
- Unused plan credits don't roll over to the next period.
- On Pro, Visionary and Titan, you can buy extra credits, called credit boosts, at any time. Boost credits never expire. See How do I buy more credits?.
Important notes
- The Watchlist limit applies to each workspace's Watchlist separately. The monthly limit on new channels is shared by all your workspaces and resets on the 1st of each month (UTC).
- When you verify a social account, Sandcastles adds a "@handle - Monthly Content Strategy Audit" report to your Reports tab. It's set to run every 30 days but stays off until you turn it on, and each run uses credits. Reports aren't available on Starter.
- Workspace guests get read-only access to the workspaces you invite them to.
